Bus trip from Melaka to Singapore | KKKL Express Bus lines. Melaka to Singapore by Bus - Travel Fail!
This video shares my travel fail of trying to get from Melaka to Singapore by bus.
Before I left Melbourne, I booked the bus journey on http://www.busonlineticket.com for about $12.
I boarded the bus at Melaka Sentral Bus Station and after 3 stops (toilet, Malaysia Immigration, Singapore Customs and Immigration) and took about 5 hours. I took the KKKL bus line and though the driver did not speak English, he did make sure I was always back on his bus!
My destination was Queen St in Singapore, and I was expecting a bus terminal rather than a bus stop. Luckily, Lavender MRT is a 5 min walk and directly across from the bus stop so it is easy once you get to the station. Singapore is easy to get around and switch lines to get to your destination. Check out, http://www.visitors.sg/visitors-info/mrt-network-map
I stayed at the Orchid Hotel, http://orchidhotel.com.sg This hotel is fairly basic in it’s amenities, but it is clean and so close to Tanjong Pager MRT, and it was only a 10 minute to Maxwell Centre Hawker food hall and another 7 minutes to Amoy St Food Centre.
